Writer and Media Research Specialist
Lindley Estes joined Susan Carol Creative as a writer and media research specialist. Her role quickly expanded as she led public relations projects in equipment finance, commercial construction and technology solutions.
She interviews clients and writes bylined articles for them, develops feature content and manages newsletter production as well as social media outreach. Lindley provides valuable strategy for many social media channels as well as training and content. A longtime journalist, she advises on media relations in a variety of markets.
Lindley is the recipient of six Virginia Press Association awards for news reporting for her work at The Free Lance-Star of Fredericksburg, where she oversaw a daily newsletter with a readership of 6,000. Lindley is also a creative writer and holds a Master of Fine Arts from George Mason University, where she taught composition and literature. Her narrative training led her to recent editorial posts with magazines and publishers. She is an honors graduate of the University of Mary Washington, where she studied English, Creative Writing and French. She holds a certification in business French from her alma mater, meaning she can copyright and create complex business documents in this language, as well, with proficiency in standard and Canadian French.
