Writer and Editor
Jane Schmitt of Buffalo, N.Y., is a writer and journalist who has interviewed men and women at every level, from CEOs to janitors. She says it’s all about telling a story, whether it’s hard news, a magazine feature or a product description.
Jane is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo State with a B.A. in Journalism. At Buffalo Business First, a weekly business newspaper that is part of American City Business Journals, she was a small-business reporter, contributing writer and a fussy copy editor who prided herself on attention to detail for small and large projects alike.
She also is a longtime writer of feature articles for Design NY, a resource guide for the Central and Western New York regions and the Finger Lakes.
In her spare time, Jane enjoys cycling, reading and spending time with her large, extended family.
