Public Relations and Events Specialist
Hank Wieland has edited and proofread hundreds of information and communications technology publications, including several dozen books, reports and tradeshow dailies ranging from 100 to 600 pages. His 39-year ICT editorial career spans three non-profit groups: U.S. Telecom, Telecommunications Industry Association and InfoComm International. He worked as a proofreader for Dow Jones in 1965-1966, graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in journalism in 1966, and then served as a public information officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. Wieland joined Warren Communications News in January 2010 as a part-time copy editor. He also currently freelances for Aerospace America magazine and edits several TechAmerica annual reports on high-tech trade.
